Entry requirements
Applying for the Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering
We encourage applications from a wide range of backgrounds and levels of experience. This course is for international students, those of you from outside of France, who want to study with us in English. If you have a passion for music, how it’s produced and meet the entry requirements listed below then we want to hear from you!
Your application is your opportunity to demonstrate that you meet the entry requirements necessary to study on the course. To apply for the course you need to meet the following criteria:
- Successful completion of the interview as well as having provided the required documents*
- Be aged 18 years or above
- Completed high school level education or equivalent
- Musical background (such as music qualifications and/or project experience)
- Demonstrated competence in English (if French is your first language we encourage you to consider our Production Musicale et techniques du son)
So that we can assess your suitability for the course and offer you an interview you will need to provide the following documents:
- Registration form (filled and signed)
- Terms and conditions (read and signed)
- Proof of previous qualifications and experiences
- Curriculum Vitae
- Two passport size photographs
- Scan of your passport or ID card
- For non-EU students: scan of a valid visa for the whole duration of the selected course
- A scan of your personal insurance
- Proof of payment of the registration fees (see this link for Abbey Road Institute Paris Bank Details)
Registration will only be validated upon success at the interview. You will then have to completely validate your registration application by paying the training fees according to the payment plan chosen.
